Early on in my internet marketing career I came across a guy called Jeff Johnson – I first saw him on John Reese’s Traffic Secrets, then again on Yanik’s Underground Seminar and then I was one of the first to get his 25k DVDs. He introduced me to the idea of big networks, work wikis, sneaky SEO and testing on a grand scale.

Now a lot has changed since then and I haven’t been watching Jeff as closely as I once was – that said, I still tremendously respect the way he thinks. This guy is an astute marketer! With a corporate background he knows how to look at business in a way most internet marketers don’t.

So, on the back of a recent survey to my clients (looks like you want to hear more about traffic, seo and business strategies), I wanted to interview Jeff and find out the process he goes through when starting a new interview business.

As to be expected with with Jeff, we went in all sorts of directions, chatting about everything from SEO through to the future of the web.

Now I know I’m a little biased but I think it was a pretty awesome call – and I uploaded it for you here.

    Really enjoyed the interview!
    Jeff really delivered some great info and it is great to hear that Article Marketing is still effective… then again, that’s what you’ve been telling us all along right Dave?
    I’m sure I will listen to the call a few more times.

    Jeff Johnson’s interest in affiliate marketing and his idea of getting a team together to promote your own product is great. I also liked what he had to say about the importance of doing your market research first to see if the market is sustainable. Interesting listening!
